Chartwell in the Community

Chartwell is committed to a programme of corporate social responsibility, and takes a pro-active involvement in communities local to our Bath and Bristol offices.

During 2009 Chartwell will be supporting Fairbridge, a leading youth Charity helping 13-25 year olds in Bristol and Bath. Fairbridge's long-term personal development programme enables marginalised young people to develop motivation, confidence and personal and social skills. For example, in recent years Chartwell has supported a local cancer charity, a local hospice and charitable activities undertaken by our staff for their own chosen charities. For further details of the good causes we support please see the Charities and Sponsorship pages.

At Chartwell we recognise the importance of protecting the environment. All efforts are made to ensure that we conduct our operations to minimise negative impacts on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce unnecessary cost. Staff are encouraged to contribute to the maintenance of such an environment.
